Graduate Students
Dr. Mahy will not be accepting Masters and PhD students for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Dr. Mahy is enthusiastic to supervise strong students who are motivated, hard working, and have experience in the area of Lifespan Development. Students seeking MA or PhD graduate degrees with Dr. Mahy, please send an e-mail outlining your research interests, any research experience you have to date, and your current GPA to [email protected]. For more information about graduate studies in Psychology, please visit our graduate program website.
In addition to having opportunities to publish research papers and attend academic conferences, graduate students also gain skills in project management, communication and presentations, ethical conduct in research, data management and coding, data analysis, knowledge translation, and writing for academic and non-academic audiences. Dr. Mahy closely works with graduate students and mentors them to academic or non-academic careers. In order to be able to provide adequate time, resources, and mentorship to my graduate students, I typically only supervise 2 to 3 graduate students in my lab at a time. This allows graduate students the opportunity to be involved in several projects and to publish extensively.
Brock University is located in the Niagara region of Southern Ontario on top of the beautiful Niagara Escarpment. Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara Falls, and wine country are a 20 minute drive away.
