Dr. Mahy is a Professor at Brock University. She received her Hon BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto, PhD from the University of Oregon, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Geneva.
Dr. Mahy is the director of the Developing Memory and Cognition Lab. Her research is funded by NSERC, SSHRC, and an Early Researcher Award from the Ontario Government. |
Postdoctoral Fellow
Felix Schreiber, Ph.D.
Felix earned his Ph.D. from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, where he was part of the interdisciplinary Research Training Group, "Situated Cognition." His research interests lie at the intersection of future-oriented cognition, emotion, and mental health. Specifically, Felix investigates how anticipated emotions influence proactive behaviour and mental health in childhood and adolescence. His work aims to support the development of resilience and coping skills in young people, with the goal of fostering emotional well-being and improving their ability to navigate challenges throughout development.

Ege is a PhD student in the DMC Lab. Ege got his undergraduate and Masters degree from Bogazici University in Turkey. Ege is interested in the development of future-oriented skills especially saving behavior. In his masters thesis, Ege examined the social and cognitive correlates of saving behaviour in early childhood and adulthood.

Madi is a MA student in the DMC Lab. Madi is involved with several projects on children's prospective memory, procrastination, and saving behaviour. Her MA thesis project focuses on the relation between procrastination, attentional difficulties, and perfectionism in preschool aged children.

Edyta is a MA student in the DMC Lab. Edyta is interested in children's procrastination and the impact of affective forecasting on their decision making as well as how giftedness might influence children's procrastination behaviour.
