Dr. Mahy is an Associate Professor at Brock University. She received her Hon BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto, PhD from the University of Oregon, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Geneva.

Dr. Mahy is the director of the Developing Memory and Cognition Lab. Her research is funded by NSERC, SSHRC, and an Early Researcher Award from the 
Ontario Government.

Tessa Mazachowsky, M.A.

Tessa is a PhD student in the DMC Lab.
Tessa is interested in the development and measurement of children's future thinking. Tessa is also involved in several projects examining children's prospective memory performance and episodic future thinking. For her dissertation, Tessa is examining the measurement and development of children's savings behaviour.

Samantha is interested in memory development across the lifespan, including false memory and its relation to categorical understanding during development, and adults' perceptions of forgetful children.

Alison O'Connor, M.A.

Alison is currently a PhD student in the Psychology Department at Brock University working in the Social Cognitive Development Lab under the supervision of Dr. Angela Evans. Alison is currently working on a project that examines how articulatory suppression affects prospective memory during aging. Alison is involved in several collaborative aging projects between the our lab and the Campbell Neurocognitive Aging Lab.

Uroog Mohammed

Uroog completed her undergraduate degree in Child Health (BA) from Brock University in 2019. Previously, Uroog was a Research Assistant in two other Psychology labs. Uroog hopes to further gain valuable experience and knowledge that will help her pursue graduate studies working with younger children. Uroog manages the day-to-day operations of the lab.
